ROAD KILL PICKUP GAME .Take 8 stuffed animals in various sizes, stagger them out from side to side at least 2 feet between them. You give the rider of the Trike a long handled net and they have to scoop up the animals one by one and hold on to them as they roll by but the Trike can't stopmoving. Sad thing is you actually run over the road kill again and again. LOL Quickest time and most animals picked up wins this event. |

BALLOON TOSS Two vertical poles are erected perpendicular to track which are wide enough for all the vehicles to go through. a horizontal pole is sat on both vertical poles (similar to limbo). Passenger is given a balloon filled with water. The driver CANNOT stop. Passenger tries to toss balloon over horizontal bar and catch it. pole can be varied in HEIGHT. |

BLIND PERSON’S BLUFF ( For three and four-wheeled vehicles )A timed event. Driver is blindfolded, passenger must direct the driver through a series of cones, and return to the start line in the fastest time. Best time of two attempts will be used for scoring purposes. |
||||
BOMBS AWAY” OR “DROP ZONE Using the same grid as in “Stop on a Dime”, Participants will ride two-up, with the passenger blindfolded. The vehicle will be driven over/by grid, and the passenger will drop BEANBAGS onto the grid when instructed by the rider. A total of 4 passes will bemade, the first and third pass will be dropped with the right hand, And THE second and forth passes will be dropped by the left hand. Any beanbags landing on a line will receive the LOWER Square's value. The team score will be the combined values of all fourruns. In the case of a tie, each team will do one more pass, using whichever hand they prefer. Highest score from this pass will determine the winner. |

BUCKET ROLL Unless you have a lot of space available you will want to run this as a two riders at a time elimination. We do this on a track that is twenty yards by twenty yards with a divider down the middle, and a starting line ten feet back from one end of the track.Each rider lines up on the starting line, and an empty bucket (5GAL PLASTIC PREFERABLY) is set on the edge of the track area in front of each rider. When the referee gives the signal the riders ride to the buckets and try to push, hit, roll, or knock the buckets off the far end of the track with their motorcycle. they must advance the bucket with the bike/TRIKE. If they kick the bucket with a foot, or push it off the track on either side they are disqualified. They may back up their bike/TRIKE or pull up and block the bucket from rolling out of bounds with their bike/TRIKE. The first bucket across the start point wins. I have seen riders roll the bucket with the front wheel the entire distance, and I have seen riders hit the bucket hard with the front wheel and knock it half way across the track. Whatever works. |
OL’ MAN’S HOME A square frame is setup in the middle of a field to look a window. The biker places his bike on one side of the WINDOW, and LIES down on a mattresson the other side of the window. He has to take off his boots and place them next to the mattress. Usually thisgame is done competitively in paired eliminations. When somebody yells, "MY OLD MAN'S HOME." The contestant has to slip into a huge baggy pair of overalls (over their regular clothes), put on their boots, jump through the "window", start their bike, and ride across the finish line. It was pretty hilarious. One heat was won by a biker WHO’S bike wouldn't start. He pushed it across the finish line. Another big guy couldn't get into the supplied XXL overalls. |
PUTT PUTT” OR “BIKE POLO This is a timed event. A team will be given a hockey stick/golf club. The object is to hit a ball (from the right-hand side of the vehicle) into a goal using the stick/club, then ride forward and hit a second ball (from the left-hand side of the vehicle) into a second goal.The ball may be hit as hard or soft as the team feels appropriate, and as many times as necessary, to score the goal. However the ball must be hit, not pushed, each time. The members of the team must stay on their vehicle at all times. If a team member physically comes in contact with a ball (this includes but is not limited to kicking the ball) at any time, the ball will be placed back at the starting point and the team must continue from there. The clock will not stop for this type of infraction. There is no penalty if the vehicle hits or runs over the ball or goal. Each team will be allowed two attempts at this event, keeping their best time for scoring purposes. In the event of a tie, the team with the lowest combined score will be the winner. |
SCAVENGER HUNT A list of items will be presented to each team. For each item the team can produce from their persons and/or vehicle, they will be awarded points (points may vary for different articles on the list). Multiple instances of the same article cannot be counted for additional points. Winners will be determined by number of total points. In case of tie, a second list of 10 items will be read, item-by-item. The first team to have an item that the other team does not have will be declared the winner. |
STOP ON A DIME Participants will attempt to stop his/her vehicle with their rear tire (once with left tire, once with right tire, and third time rider’s choice for those that have two rear tires) in the highest-numbered boxes within a grid drawn on the ground. If the tire is on a line between two squares, the lower score will be given. Total of three attempts will be used to determine score. For tie-breaker, judge will assign a square for contestants to stop on. Nearest to center of square will be winner. |
TENNIS BALL DROP The rider drives past the TUBE (a 10ft plastic drain pipe about 1-2ft higher on one end works well here) and the passenger drops the tennis ball in the top end. As the ball rolls down the tube the rider synchronizes their speed with the ball by watching it roll pastsmall cut outs in the tube. When the ball rolls out the bottom end of the tube the passenger reaches down and catches it. It is not easy. |
WEENIE BITE A rider runs his/her bike/trike under a bar with a hotdog hanging off of it on a string and their passenger tries to bite off as big APIECE as possible. The winner is the crowd. Oh yeah, the winner of the game is the rider who takes the biggest bite. There are a fewrules too. can not stop a the vehicle and You can't put a foot down, and the passenger (Don't eat the weenie!!!!) |
WET-N-WILD Wet 'n Wild is a fun game on a hot day. It can be run in a number of ways depending on how many water troughs you can get your hands on and how many buckets the same size. A single large water trough or even a wading pool will do for part of the game. Then multiple buckets or containers the same size and some mixing bowls that are all the same size. this is wrote up around a wading pool and set up as a multiple team event. This is arider passenger game, and it is usually run with a fixed time limit of two minutes per heat. Each rider and passenger and passenger starts in the safety area at the end of the track near the buckets shown in the diagram. Both teams are given a large shallow mixing bowl. The passenger must ride astraddle the passenger seat of the motorcycle while holding the bowl on top of their head. When the officials yells start and starts the clock the rider drives to the safety area at the other end of the track where they must stop to let the passenger dismount. While the passenger is off the bike the rider must turn the bike around and point it back toward the other end of the field. At this time the passenger runs to the wading pool and dips the bowl into the pool to fill it with water. Then they get back on the motorcycle behind the rider and place the bowl back on top of their head. The passenger must be seated across the seat of the motorcycle and the bowl must be held on top of their head before the rider drives the motorcycle out of the mount and dismount area. When the team gets back to the end of the field where the buckets are located the rider must stop and allow the passenger to dismount. Then while the passenger runs over and dumps the remaining water in the bowl in the bucket on their side of the field the rider again get the bike turned around and pointed the other way. Again the passenger remounts and places the bowl on top of their head. They repeat the process until the official calls time. At the end of the heat the team with the highest water level wins. Because of the amount of time involved if you have a lot of teams wanting to ride you might want to consider the amount of space you have available. If you have the buckets, bowls, wading pools, and space available it might be to your advantage to setup multiple tracks and run more than two competing teams at a time. For safety sake you might consider a rule that the rider must turn around within their own lane at each end of the track. For a little added fun, if you have hay bales around your track for safety you might consider putting the wading pool or water trough on the other side of the hay bales and making the passenger climb over them to fill their bowl. |
