NEW TRIKE 9

Got the legs tacked on and installed on the trike.  Got the trike level and using a laser level got the front tire in place.

When I put the mock up forks on the trike I cut them at three feet long.  This was to short so I purchased the tubes at 4 feet long.  Used the laser level to determine the trail.  Got it down to about 1 1/2 inch.  Have to cut about 7 1/2 inches off the tubes.  I'm going to let my machinist do the cutting as I can't seem to get the ends squared right plus I'll let him drill the holes for the axle in the rockers and the tubes where the rockers attach and install a bushing in both forks.  I'm going to let a pro-welder weld the thing together.  I will also add braces between the forks, one just above where the fender will be and one about in the middle and another where the head light will mount.  That ought to stiffen it up and prevent flex.

Front end is at the machinist.  The floor rusted up over the winter so I cleaned it up and recoated it with Por-15.
