Here I have the caliper and stabilzers mounted on the back plate, these stabilzers can be made out of angle iron, I had mine laser cut and bent where I work. I'm sure you handymen can probably make a better looking set than mine
.

And here I have the finished product, because this assembly takes up most of the room in the wheel, make sure nothing rubs the rim from inside, I had to grind down the stabilizer plates for that reason, all works smooth now. |

Here I have the complete asembly with
the brake hose attached, I used a brake hose that fits a 1988 Beauville
van (GMC), as well as the original mounting brackets from that truck. I
chose these hoses because of their length.
